As part of re-tooling our brand and reorganizing our fabulous staff, Horse Haven of Tennessee is seeking qualified applicants for the Executive Director position. Horse Haven of Tennessee is currently embarking on rebranding, re-imaging, and expanding its recognition across the state of Tennessee. As Executive Director for this equine welfare organization, a qualified individual would be responsible for providing leadership and direction in support of the organization’s mission, vision, and developing goals, as well as helps to establish and develop organizational goals and policies. The Executive Director for Horse Haven of Tennessee is supported by a committed and enthusiastic board of directors, volunteers, and staff.

RESCUE

Horse Haven of Tennessee rescues equine from neglectful and abusive situations.

SHELTER

We provide shelter and nourishment for abused and neglected equine.

CARE

Both trained professionals and volunteers assist in proper care for and rehabilitation of the equine.

ADOPTION

After each equine is well on the road to recovery, our adoption committee assists with placement into a safe and loving new home.

THE STORY OF HORSE HAVEN OF TN.

Horse Haven of Tennessee is the state’s largest and oldest equine welfare organization. Since 1999, Horse Haven has cared for over 876 horses to date (July 2015), rescuing them from abuse and neglect, nursing them back to health and then placing them in safe, loving homes.
