    Jessica Bass started Dance2Fit in Knoxville, Tennessee at just 24 years old. As a mother of three beautiful children, she was tired of boring workout routines and as a busy mom, she needed a fitness program that fit into her hectic schedule. Jessica’s passion for music and dance inspired her to become a certified fitness instructor.

    The Blount County native is the youngest of five kids. Her mom was rodeo queen out in West Tennessee! Sarah Jane attended Pellissippi State Community College for one year before enrolling at the University of Tennessee (Go Vols!).
     
    One year into the University of Tennessee, Sarah Jane entered the College of Communication to earn a degree in Broadcast Journalism. Soon after graduation, she ventured to Hazard, Kentucky for her first reporting job before returning to rocky top and joining WVLT Local 8 News.
     
    Late last year, Sarah Jane “bridled” up to fellow journalist and University of Tennessee grad, David Cobb, who covers Vol sports for the newspaper in Chattanooga.
     
    Dancing for the Horses is her first fundraising endeavor, but she uses her passion for broadcast to tell the stories of people living with ALS, Cystic Fibrosis and Autism.

  • Knoxville Wholesale Furniture
     
    Sarah Harris’ family’s business, Knoxville Wholesale Furniture, will outfit your home with a comfortable couch or bedroom set, but she’s not one to spend her time lounging around. Sarah is an extremely busy community ambassador who has worked with countless organizations including Friends of Literacy, No Kid Hungry, and Childhood Hunger.  The Knoxville Catholic High School graduate continued her education at University of Oklahoma where she earned a degree in Advertising. She then served as CEO of Knoxville Wholesale Furniture Media.
     
    Sarah is a former Pride of Oklahoma Marching Band Feature Twirler who also spent time helping her grandfather raise Tennessee walking horses.

  • Naked Foods
    Alison Oakes is a Knoxville native who turned her healthy recipes and passion for fitness into a business called Naked Foods which creates and delivers clean meals every week to hundreds of meals every week.
    Alison graduated Bearden High School in 2000 and attended the Columbus College of Art and Design. 
     She then returned to teach art at the Knoxville Museum of Art, and then back to School at UTK to receive her Master of Fine Arts. Alison taught Art at Pellissippi State Community College for several years before becoming a personal trainer and nutrition coach, which lead to the birth of Naked Foods in 2014. 
    Alison enjoys giving nutrition talks and helping people create healthy lifestyles.

    Brad’s experience and expertise are in branding, marketing, consultation and generating accelerated campaigns within emerging markets. Brad is adept at leveraging his analytical talents to develop and execute tactical marketing plans that drive competitive performance, increase customers, and build unparalleled asset awareness. Brad is well versed in opportunity identification, market penetration logistics, and competitive market analysis. He currently is the Director of Acquisitions and Investor Relations at Global Health Partners and sits on the boards of several local companies including Capital Investment Advisors, Signature Auctions, Alliance Sotheby’s International Realty and Alliance Equity Corp. Brad holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from the Virginia Military Institute.

    Shannon Smith is a reporter for WBIR 10 News. The Auburn graduate first worked in Texas before moving to East Tennessee.  Shannon grew up dancing competitively and is excited to get back on stage for a great cause.

    Allyson Spellman is a show host at Jewelry Television, an empowerment speaker, and animal advocate.  She has appeared on soap operas, network TV shows, commercials and feature films.
     
    Her joy of performing led her to graduate with a BFA in theater arts, and pursue her MFA in acting in Washington, DC.
     
    Allyson is dedicated to the welfare of all animals, serving as a US board member and ambassador for Animal Avengers, helping rescue dogs from the dog meat trade in China and working with the Animal Sanctuary, The Resiliency Center of Newtown and HORSE of CT.

  • WATE
    Jennifer Webb is a reporter for WATE 6 On Your Side. She is a Knoxville Native and University of Tennessee graduate. She has a passion for all animals big and small, which makes it easy for her to support Horse Haven of Tennessee! Jennifer enjoys telling the stories of her fellow East Tennesseans.
