Have you always dreamed of owning a horse? Would you love to have one of your own but circumstances don’t allow it? Would you like to care for one but don’t have the time? Then our Virtual Sponsorship Program is for you! Help provide assistance for special needs horse that HHT has not been able to find a forever home for.

Horse Haven of Tennessee / HHT gives you the unique opportunity to help with the
rehabilitation of those horses that have been rescued. Horses who have been severely
neglected, abused, or are unwanted by their families. Horses that must be cared for while awaiting the long, drawn out legal process. With your help we restore their health and trust in humans and try to place them with families who will love and care for them. Maybe you can’t be there physically, but you can help them through our Virtual Equine Sponsorship Program.

The Horses HHT has horses with special needs that warrant special diets while awaiting that special home. Many of these equine are never adopted because of these needs. Each horse requires a minimum standard of care each month, and some are with us for indefinite periods of time before they are adopted.

Listed are just a few of their estimated expenses:
Initial health care which includes vaccines, farrier = $150
Monthly feed bill = $75
Every 8 weeks – Farrier & De-worming = $40
