Our Campus Plan: Building a Stable Future
Horse Haven of Tennessee is growing! Phase 1 of our campus plan is underway with the construction of our first barn, designed to house up to 40 horses. This state-of-the-art facility will feature 20 interior stalls and 20 exterior run-outs, giving our rescued horses the space and comfort they need to heal and thrive. We have already completed fencing for our lower pasture, creating a safe and secure turnout area where horses can graze, stretch, and enjoy the fresh air.
Phase 2 will bring even more specialized care to our horses with the addition of a Special Needs Barn. This 10-stall barn will feature 10 interior stalls and 10 exterior run-outs to accommodate up to 20 horses, complete with a dedicated ICU stall for critical care cases. Alongside this, we will build a covered arena to support year-round training, rehabilitation, and community programs, as well as a full campus renovation to enhance our facilities and improve the experience for horses, staff, volunteers, and visitors alike.
Together, these improvements will create a safe, functional, and welcoming environment where abused and neglected horses can recover, rebuild trust, and find their forever homes.
