ADOPTION PENDING! Sundrop is a beautiful 28-year-old Tennessee Walking Horse with a gentle soul and a heart full of resilience. She came to us in rough shape, but thanks to lots of love and dedicated care, she’s slowly gaining weight and making steady progress on her road to recovery.

Though she’s not quite ready for adoption just yet, Sundrop is a shining example of what hope, time, and compassion can do. Her calm demeanor and sweet spirit have already made her a barn favorite.

We’ll continue to share updates on Sundrop’s journey as she heals. For now, she’s soaking up the sunshine, enjoying soft hay, and learning that she’s finally safe.

Horse Haven is currently caring for 33 equine that are involved in legal proceedings. As part of our mission, we care for equine that are being held as evidence for any county in Tennessee.

ADOPTED! Meet Charlie — our Comeback King and one of the sweetest souls you’ll ever meet.

This 25-year-old Quarter Horse came to us in rough shape, and for a while it was truly touch and go. But Charlie had other plans, and with plenty of love, care, and determination, he has made an incredible comeback. Today he is healthy, happy, and even kicking up his heels!

Charlie has a big heart and a gentle spirit. He loves kids, enjoys every bit of affection he can get, and believes there’s nothing better than relaxing to some old country music. He thrives with a pasture buddy and truly enjoys having another horse by his side.

We adore this boy, and now he’s ready to find a home that will adore him just as much. If you’re looking for a loving, grateful, people-oriented partner for retirement life, Charlie is your guy.
